Fradulent FSIO email in circulation

An email is currently circulating which purports to be from FSIO Director Doris Bianchi demanding benefit repayment. This is a phishing (CEO fraud) attempt. The Federal Social Insurance Office NEVER sends this type of email, either to individuals or to institutions. If you receive a phishing email, do not reply and do NOT click on any links it may contain. The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has been notified of the scam FSIO email.

Finances of the old-age and survivor's insurance (OASI)

The FSIO regularly publishes financial projections for the old-age and survivor's insurance and uses the latest available information for these projections. The financial projections for supplementary benefits are always subject to a degree of uncertainty because they are based on numerous assumptions about future developments.
