AGOV is replacing CH-Login

Berne, 29.09.2025 — The Confederation is expanding the options for logging in to ePortal. In addition to CH-Login, the AGOV login is also available. It will gradually replace the current CH-Login. On 31 October 2026 at the latest, existing users must change over to AGOV. Existing logins will then be migrated automatically. AGOV provides greater security and allows the online services of various authorities, including federal, cantonal and municipal public services, to be accessed with a single login. New users should register directly with AGOV. Existing users can change over to AGOV by registering in ePortal via AGOV and then linking their existing account. All current permissions are retained. You can find online help and instructions at help.eiam.swiss.
