Solutions session organised by Switzerland and the IOM at the World Summit on Social Development in Qatar (5th November 2025)
Migrant women play a vital role in supporting their families, but their journey is often fraught with difficulties due to their socio-economic conditions and legal status. When the time comes to leave the labour market, they face a number of challenges. Switzerland is organising a virtual Solutions session in collaboration with the International Organisation for Migration to review some of these issues and highlight the resources available to women from immigrant backgrounds at this stage in their lives.
