International social insurance
Social security also has an international dimension. This is seen in the conclusion of intergovernmental agreements and in the participation in the work of international organisations. The conclusion of coordination agreements prevents the persons affected being disadvantaged in international matters. In the context of international organisations, standards for social security in particular are drawn up.
